How To Install D2CKEY for WiiD2C
well, today 23/12/07 we installed the modchip, it took us 3 hours, infact this is the second installation we have done so far, and here are the conclusions for making the installation as easy as possible.

please note the installtion of this chip should be left for Pro’s.
what u’ll need:
30 AWG wire.
Hakko soldering station ( or something similar ) – pointed to 400 C
sharp solder tip head.
some magnifying tool for achiving atleast x 2.5 zoom.
fresh mind and patience.
we know that there are 2 types of d2c boards,
1st type is harder to solder on cause of nintendo covered the via’s with thick plastic,
(if we compare the via plastic to some PS2 boards)
you need to drill to get into the contact surface of the via point.
you drill with a philps screw driver , to remove the plastic.
its very dangerous and also most of the time even when you think you have covered the via contact the solder point will not hold much of time
in that case we prefer to go on the d2c legs which is the hard way.
we used also some alternative solder points provided in neoasic’s diagram.
but whole solder points should go on the 0.2mm chip legs
please short JP1 for making PAL consoles multi region.
please short JP2 for making NTSC consoles multi region.
0 , 1 pads on the d2ckey chip should be ignored.
2nd d2c motherboard is same as you see at neoasics diagram, the via points are shiny and are smiling and waiting for you to solder them to the d2c chip.
